A generative AI co-host I engineered in 7 days to participate in live, real-time conversations, showcasing our "AI for Humanity" mission.The Problem As a lean, two-person startup, we needed a scalable way to produce our educational AI podcast. We didn't have the time or resources for a large production team, but we wanted to demonstrate our own AI capabilities.The Solution I designed, engineered, and deployed "Graice," a fully autonomous AI podcast co-host. The system listens to the live conversation, reasons in real-time, and speaks back with a human-like voice, all controlled by custom-built logic.Key Features & Architecture:Real-Time, Local-First Pipeline: I engineered a modular, production-ready pipeline in Python (pyaudio, whisper, openai, regex) that ran entirely locally, requiring no cloud hosting. It was fully compatible with OBS and Audacity.Intelligent & Contextual Reasoning: The AI's "brain" used GPT-4 with custom-engineered prompt flows and tone-control logic. This allowed Graice to be humorous, factual, or corrective based on contextual cues.Natural Conversational UX: I architected voice activation and moderation rules to mimic natural human podcast dynamics. It integrated ElevenLabs for voice synthesis, playing its responses directly into a TrueMix 600 professional soundboard.
Case Study: AI Sales Agent & Risk Assessment
The Problem:A high-profile client (MD/IFBB Pro) was losing significant revenue. His sales agent (costing 10% of revenue) was missing leads, and the marketing agency that took over was overwhelmed by 1000s of DMs.The Solution:I architected and deployed an end-to-end, autonomous AI sales agent to replace the costly sales role and manage all inbound Instagram leads. The system used a custom RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) engine, built on 700+ pages of the client's private data, to handle complex sales conversations 24/7.The Initial Result The AI agent was an immediate success.
